Not just is the setting truly magnificent, the superb menu of innovative British cuisine is tantalising. Start with a quail pithivier served with toasted green peas, pea shoots and sweetcorn velouté followed by poached and seared breasts of squab pigeon with confit leg tortellini, braised pak choi, shimeji mushrooms and warmed raspberries and finish with a summer berry pudding with hazelnut shortbread, crème Anglaise and clotted cream ice cream.
