Overlooking the green spaces of Ham Common, close to Richmond Park, this reinvented restaurant has taken on a distinctly French complexion, as you might expect from the name Legless Frog

Restaurant owner, Thierry Bouteloup, had his tongue placed firmly in his cheek when naming The Legless Frog, the latest addition to the La Trouvaille group. Set in Surrey's rural Richmond, The Legless Frog is a mixture of traditional French and Olde English, boasting a front cricket bar and a huge rear garden complete with willow trees and a carp pond. The menu at The Legless Frog reflects the setting, offering dishes such as seared tuna with vanilla dressing and smoked garlic, roasted rabbit with foie gras and sweetcorn flan with marjoram jus or grilled steak of lamb, flageolet beans, lavender sauce. Three courses of this eclectic French-inspired fare will set you back around £30 per person. With a fantastic al fresco dining area, award winning wine list, specialising in the south west of France and including organic and bio dynamic wines from small private vineyards, and friendly, attentive service, The Legless Frog is a real winning combination.
