Located in Topsham, just outside of Exeter in Devon, Oliva is a family run Spanish style restaurant that is popular with both locals and visitors to this lovely part of the South-West of England. Fresh seafood and wonderful, authentic paellas, set the tone for some first rate Mediterranean style dining, particularly if the weather is good and you can dine on Oliva's fantastic outside terrace. Be sure to sample the local mussels steamed open in garlic, Chardonnay and cream or the fresh local scallops grilled in their shells, with chorizo, sun blushed tomatoes and garlic. If seafood is not your thing, Oliva also offers some fantastic meat dishes including the likes of crisp belly pork and a char-grilled pork steak served on olive oil mash with a sauce of shallots, thyme and red wine or a mouth-watering pan-fried chicken breast stuffed with chorizo mousse, topped with a tomato and jalapeño sauce. Complemented by an inspired wine list, along with a very high level of service, a visit to Oliva will not only delight your tastebuds but will also provide you with and evening a little different to the norm.
