I ate last Saturday night at Grado in Manchester with my girlfriend and a couple of friends we wre visiting up North. The whole experience was second to none. The layout , decor and ambience of the restaurant is perfect, the staff wonderfully friendly, efficient and knowledgable. The extensive winelist is a superb showcase for Spanish wines. The food was faultless - piping hot, beautifully presented and tantalisingly tasty. It was busy but we were made to feel special. It is probably not to everybody's taste but the carcasses of meat hanging up in the fridge in full view of the restaurant is a great feature. I reccomend you go - seriously!! Better than anything in London.

Grado is one of Manchester's finest restaurants without doubt. The food is excellent as is the service and the attention to detail throughout. I'd recommend Grado as a great restaurant for any occassion. We were extremely impressed with everything from start to finish.
