Chapter One restaurant is a chic & stylish, award winning restaurant at Farnborough Common in the picturesque Kent countryside. Located in a wonderful Tudor building, Chapter One's interior combines a palette of rich chocolate with deep red silk, intimate shimmering spaces, elegant Italian furnishings, bespoke artwork and a lavish bar made from volcanic rock and German alabaster. The restaurant is modern, stylish and comfortable throughout and the cooking is absolutely first rate. Chapter One's executive head chef, Andrew McLeish and his team have created an impresssive menu which includes dishes such as black fig tatin, st maure goat cheese or Foie gras parfait, roast hazelnuts & hazelnut veloute to start followed by braised oxtail sautéed spinach, pancetta bacon, parsnip purée, baby beetroot & oxtail jus or slow roast belly of berkshire pork, savoy cabbage, potato fondant, foie gras & caramelised apple purée. An extensive wine list fully compliments the food on offer at Chapter one and the pricing in general is more than fair for this level of dining. Chapter One have created a totally relaxing environment where you can enjoy a sense of privacy and yet still experience the pleasure of eating in a popular and well patronized restaurant where fine food and excellent service are the order of the day. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! A real treat but worth every penny! The food was wonderful, everything was cooked to perfection - really couldn''t have asked for a better restaurant....will go back at every opportunity! Well done Chapter One.
