Belgo Centraal

BELGO CENTRAAL

50 Earlham Street, London WC2H 9HP

Type of cuisine: Belgian

Average price: £30.00

Belgo Centraal restaurant London is a Covent Garden favourite & attracts a diverse mix of regular restaurant diners

Belgo Centraal is a fantastic 'Bierhall' style restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden, specialising in Belgian style cuisine including the classical moules frites, pork & leek sausages wiith stoemp,(potato mash with Savoy cabbage, leeks & carrots) & stunning Flemmish beef stews with baked prunes & apples. There are two main dining rooms in Belgo Centraal, the 'Beer Hall' with long refectory tables and the 'restaurant' with more intimate booths, but wherever you sit, the atmosphere is always buzzy & friendly. One of Belgo's real masterpieces is its long-running 'Beat the Clock' & 'lunch & a beer for a fiver' promotions, both of which have been attracting a loyal customer base for years, as well as it's extensive choice of superb Belgian beers. Staff are efficient & a la carte prices are very reasonable, but it's really the ambience and the superb, authentic food that make this restaurant such a winner. However, be warned, Belgo's is one of the busiest restaurants in the Covent Garden area, so booking in advance is essential.

Customer reviews for Belgo Centraal

08 May 06

Having recently visited Belgo Centraal in Covent Garden for the first time, I could not have been more impressed both with the excellent food and with the relaxed ambience of the venue. As its name suggests, the restaurant specialises in Belgian food with mussels and chips being a particular speciality and unusually diners are able to view the food being cooked in its open plan kitchens. Overall this was a fabulous eating experience and I will definitely be returning.
